Cecil Cox, 94, of Veedersburg, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Attica. He was a member of the Redman Lodge and National Riflemen’s Association. He was born Dec. 4, 1891, in Alton, Ind., the son of John Henry and Clara Craft Cox. He was married Sept. 16, 1916, to Nora Berlin, who died in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Norman, Veedersburg; and a daughter, Clara Cox, Newport Richey, Fla. He was preceded in death by a son, Hobert. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. The Parham Funeral Home of Veedersburg was in charge of arrangements. -- s
